Primary Treating Physicians
Our courses were designed to improve your knowledge of the report writing requirements of the PTP (Primary Treating Physician).
1) Our initial video, PTP Introduction to Report Writing provides basic instruction on the DFR (Doctor's First Report), the PR-2 (the Progress Report), and the PR-4, (the MMI or Permanent and Stationary report.) All issues, including causation and apportionment, are reviewed. Some of the case law affecting these issues is discussed.
2) There are five impairment rating videos to choose from for doctors who treat and evaluate musculoskeletal injuries. These videos discuss selecting the appropriate chapter and table to use, and how to apply your findings to the Guides criteria to assess impairment.
3) We offer five courses covering various workers' compensation case law decisions that are frequently encountered by the evaluating physician.
