Primary Treating Physicians

Our courses were designed to improve your knowledge of the report writing requirements of the PTP (Primary Treating Physician) in CA workers' compensation.  

1)  Our initial video, PTP Introduction to Report Writing provides instruction on the DFR (Doctor's First Report), the PR-2 (the Progress Report), and the PR-4, (the MMI or Permanent and Stationary report.)  All required issues, including causation, apportionment, work restrictions, future medical are discussed, including the most common regulations and case law. 

2)  We offer five impairment rating videos to choose from for doctors who evaluate musculoskeletal injuries. These videos instruct the viewer to choose the appropriate chapter and table and how to apply your examination findings to the Guides criteria to assess impairment.

3) We offer five courses covering various workers' compensation case law decisions that are frequently encountered by the evaluating physician.
